Thank you, voters! Unfortunately, we have to say goodbye to two iconmakers this week.
And sorry for the delay. Such great icons this time around, it made voting that much harder. XD Banner-maker this week is

17 - I really think this is masterful - the crop takes advantage of the lines of the cap, and the text curving kind of the same way his body does makes it very beautiful and fitting with the muted tone of the icon.
17 - Nice use of text, and the dark tones fit the image well.
17 - Love the silhouette and the text!

6 - I love the coloring here and juxtaposition of the caps. However, there's something about the text that could use a little work. :)

06 - Good choice of caps & text. I also love how you've used green to tie both caps together. Lovely job!
06: Great composition, texture work and text, very neat.

15 - The coloring in this one is really pretty! Love the yellows. Unfortunately, the icon, especially on my monitor, looks quite over-sharpened. The edges of his face and jacket are particularly pixellated. Lowering the opacity of the sharpened layer, masking out overly sharp parts, blurring, or fading the sharpening filter once you've applied it are good ways to prevent this in the future.
15- LOVE love love the crop here, and the muted coloring :)
15 - Poor image quality - particularly in the folds of his jacket, you see the compression. I do adore the crop, though. I just wish you had tried to smooth out or disguise some of the compression.
15 - I like the crop, but it looks a bit pixilated and over-contrasted.
15 -Cropping is actually very creative and I like it, but the coloring lessens the quality of the picture, it looks pixelated and somehow oversharpened.
