so this poem came to me driving last week.
i was wearing big huge sunglasses and the tint against the sky reminded me so much of oklahoma.
and i had to write it down i guess just to make it real and tangible,
because ill never forget that time in my life.

i know -- sometimes you're just thinking "eww this is so boring i want to fall asleep and there's nothing to do" and other times you can't even put into words how beautiful it is..especially the sky. :)

i lived in tulsa, oklahoma twice.
first 8 years ago for 3 months.
then 6 years ago for 6 months.

i lived there at the Laureate Psychiatric Hospital on their ED unit.
its one of the best in the country and one of the few that would take me at such a young age.

i hold oklahoma dear to my heart as it is the place i decided to live again.
