With the move and the new house and all, I've curtailed my work travel considerably, in favor of bring my victims here to D.C. for interviewing.  Unfortunately, those cases where I have to go to the affected District and interview several (or in one upcoming case, about 25) people have sort of stacked up, so spousal objections aside, I have to get

When my work had me traveling to a depressing list of 'garden' spots, I took my armor (in lieu of golf clubs) and hit the local fighter practices...

I envy that you get old churches to putter around in....

I'm apprehensive about risking my armor to the tender mercies of TSA and baggage handlers. (Well, my incipient armor, actually. Mostly complete, except that my mail spends more time at Knuut's place than at mine, waiting for him to do tailoring.)

Maybe when I have it all in one place (and get back into some semblance of my bad ol' fightin' self), I'll start bringing it on trips with me.
