Edward had - stubbornly, he was willing to admit that now - avoided doing this largely out of pride. But after two weeks in his technology class and the discovery that he really wasn't going to get by in it without getting his letters-- he had at last sucked it up.

So now here he was, knocking on Rapunzel's door-- feeling a bit odd about that. He didn't have the stick up his arse that Ichabod did about so many things, but this still ranked somewhere on the list of 'liberties' in the back of his head.

Ah, no one's parents were here, Kenway. Let it go.

Rapunzel glanced back towards the door with a bright grin. "Hi Edward! How are you today? Are you having a good semester so far?"

And that was Rapunzel actually eeping and flailing her way over to him in alarm. "Oh, darn it! Do you want a towel or something? Are you hurt?"
