Big Z, Brian and I went to the park.  There was a nice sunset.  People all around.  We sat on a rock wall.  Zoë climbed on top and wanted to walk along the wall.  It was one of those walls where it's six inches off the ground at first, but then it increases to four feet or so.  At that point, Brian took over.

Big Z is eating more.  She likes rice, shave ice, and pad thai.  There is a new Thai restaurant that opened in our neighborhood.  She slurps down the pad thai as fast as I pile it on her plate.  Next time, I'm going to let her eat her own serving.

Brian is doing what he usually does.  Works during the day, throws the ball for the dog.  Brian is currently on a yard work spree.  He has been charging the hedge trimmer battery.  Probably for nefarious purposes.  The cookies that Brian baked last night were too big to put on a regular plate.  So they are in a mixing bowl, covered in plastic wrap.

We went to Sea Life Park last weekend with Theo and Yo.  Big Z learned to sit on her parents' shoulders.  The first time we put her on Brian's shoulders, she gave a giant grin.

Zoë turned two today.  She reached three feet tall a few weeks ago, and fell just shy of 25 pounds.  Right now, her favorite color is yellow, her favorite food is pudding, her favorite activity is jumping, and her favorite book is Moo Baa La La La.  She really likes the number eight.  And shave ice.

I went to San Diego for work to attend Family Justice Center Alliance child abuse training.  The training was at a super nice hotel.  They served us snacks every day at 3pm.  On Monday, the snack bar theme was chocolate.  Check out the chocolate treats:
