So, I caught up on Skins finally.

I'm pretty meh about it. I'm not sure if that's because I feel pretty meh about everything lately, though. In general I'm just not particularly happy with the way the storylines are going and the way the characters are acting, but I'm going to keep watching.

Same here. I keep hoping they'll fix it. I still love her because I did in the beginning and she is still the same person, but I loved her so much more in the earlier seasons. Sigh.

I know right! It seems like a shame too because the writers could've taken the opportunity to draw attention to homophobic bullying and stuff. I would've found it totally depressing, but it'd be more realistic that way.

SO CLINGY. I never really consider the potential for Skins RPF and then I see pictures like these and it's like "...why isn't there more?"

Nick is totally the GOOD kind of douchebag though. He is miles away from Freddie. Freddie is just. Ugh. I probably wouldn't have such an issue with him if he wasn't with Effy. I think it's just that Effy is (or used to be?) so INTERESTING, and I hate that she's abandoned her whole personality for someone so dull. :(

UM. THINGS. How much have you watched? Have you been watching this season? Idk. I keep coming back to that bit last season when Freddie was freaking out over Cook having slept with Effy, and Cook said "Look, apart from those times when my cock is actually up your arse, you have no reason to worry about where it is the rest of the time." AND I TAKE THAT AS CONFIRMATION.

I haven't watched this season yet. Should I? Is it interesting? IDEK. Let's talk about Cook/Freddie forever. I think my heart went all OMG when they kissed last season. It was like, forever ago but my heart loves living in the past.

ROFL. It's okay, bb. I don't really understand my hatred for him. He's boring, he shouldn't induce such strong reactions.

I LIKE HIS SISTER THOUGH. She's hilarious. And they're easy to ship together?

UH HUH. It happened pretty early on, second episode or so? REWATCH LAST SEASON. It was definitely better than this season is so far, anyway. I'm not sure if it's just me drifting away from the show, but like I said in this post, this season is so MEH.

But then, Freddie/Cook-wise, there's THE KISS to compare to. THAT WAS SO EPIC, I DON'T BLAME YOUR HEART FOR LIVING IN THE PAST. Best moment everrr. I wish the writers would develop that somehowww.

I honestly don't even know how I feel about Effy. All of seasons 1-2, I loved her so much. She was all mysterious and interesting. Hell, even last season, she was really awesome. But so far this season, she's just..."meh". I'm tempted to say that I'm over Effy, but I still have this soft spot for her :/

Cook/Freddie are so in love. I'm still convinced that the whole "fighting over Effy" is just a cover.

I know. :/ I'm so unsure about her now. I loved her SO MUCH in the first seasons and my love is slowly diminishing. I feel the same though, I can't say I'm over her.

TOTALLY A COVER. That they haven't even realised yet. Sigh.

HI, IT'S NICE TO HEAR FROM YOU AGAIN!

I haven't been following Skins, mostly because only a few of the characters really appealed to me. But I love looking at photos of the cast; they look like they're having such great fun!

I know what you mean. I kept watching after the first generation because of Effy, but none of the new characters really grabbed me. I just keep sticking with it because I love the way it's all done, if that makes sense. I like the show's style and I loved the first couple of seasons so much that I trust the writers to keep it going well. XD
