Am I the only one who's outraged by the Rossiter HPV lawsuit case? I mean COME THE FUCK ON!!

It is completely and utterly ridiculous that this woman won this case, or that it wasn't thrown out of court within five seconds. The people in this case obviously had NO CLUE what they were dealing with or they would have known that any evidence this idiot

Boils down to a what-if scenario, I would say. If a made two bowls of soup, one poison, one not, and I assured you both were fine to eat, and you just happened to chose the poisoned one. So you eat it, then die. I'm completely innocent, right?

He also showed prior knowledge to having the disease, because he asked her specifically "have you ever been tested for HPV?"
She then got tested, and found out she has both strains.

As far as the law is concerned, that's pretty much premeditated in plain terms, wouldn't you say?

$500,000 for mental anguish, I can see. Some people just don't get over that kind of stuff. You yourself spoke of pain that hadn't gone away.

$500,000 Punitive is a bit much.. until one of those strains develops into cancer, and that money lasts her a good two to three years.

A lot of what ifs in the whole situation, I can see it being bullshit and 100% on point at the same time.

I never heard about this on the televisions or ye olde radio. :O I don't have a real opinion on it either, since I haven't read the specific details of the case and both peep's story. All I know is that we can be too sue crazy in this country.
