I arrived at the library 2 hours ago and have read A LOT since I've been here. I'm no where close to being able to draft a paper yet. Hey babe! Have a good visit with Mom an dDrank. If I can be of assistance on the paper front (walking/talking through stuff) let me know. My advisor is sending me my latest round of comments today via snail mail, so I'm ready to start that support group when you are. much love! - d

npr was doing something today/this evening? on a soldier that had returned from the war, had disturbing nightmares, etc...seemed to be doing fine, then had a bad bit with ?(mom, girlfriend, wife? it was 5am when I heard the bit for this and I can't even remember what program it was going to be on now) but perhaps you can catch it on their website and it could prove useful/insightful/provoking in some way or provide links to something useful/insightful/provoking. perhaps its time to turn the thesis on its ear and ask a different question? let me ask you this: among ptsd soldiers is there a common thread as far as job description? is it mostly infantry or are you seeing it in special ops too? I'm wondering if its in the type of training each job description is getting. Being put in a box is a lot different from reading about how to behave when you're put in a box.
