i know this is hard. but i give you immense credit for knowing what you want and being lady enough to go after it.

i'd like to have a bigger apartment this year... and i'll be 30. small steps. :P

House of Dreams -- is it really so much to ask? Nein! And yours sounds so lovely...

After turning 29 this month, I looked at my life and asked "what do I *really* want, and how do I get it without relying on a partner to come along and help me?"

I've gotten tired of having my plans disrupted every time Mr. Right (For Now) comes along. You'd think that if you announce to a guy that you want kids, right from the beginning, that he would take you seriously! Bah. And for the record, I'm super jealous of your "socking away" and hope to be able to start my own house fund soon -- whenever I can get full-time employment again.
