That video is of the amazing Serenity Smith from Gemini Trapeze in Vermont. They are really incredible!

You did great for your first class, sprained ankle and all! I'm glad to have you there and promise you'll get stronger as class progresses.

:-)

I think I've watched that video at least 10 or 12 times tonight! I'm just... mesmerized!

I think it reminds me of when I first learned to play French horn, when I was 11. It took me 2 solid days just to make any kind of noise on the thing! But then I went on to play it for 8 years! So the desire is there, and the strength will come in time :D

I should go do some crunches now... ;D

Happy birthday. And good luck pushing yourself to try something new. Its a good thing to never be settled with your situation. Always strive for what could be,

thanks! I'm so excited about learning this, it's something I never thought I could do, and I may not make it to look like that amazing girl in the video, but at least I can say I did something really cool!

That is so cool! And impossible-looking, but cool!

Have you ever been to the Pink Door in Post Alley? There's a girl there that does this kind of stuff on a big ring hanging from the ceiling. She's awesome! We should go sometime.

I also know a girl in choir who does this and has for years. I didn't even really know it was a "thing" until you told me about it. Cool cool.

See you tomorrow night! :)

Ha ha. Small world - I'm the trapeze artist at the Pink Door. Have been for about a year.

I don't use a hoop, I use a trapeze and a sling, but YES, you should absolutely come and bring Ashley with you. :-)
