It was brought up a few times and I've decided this idea is probably for the best. I've decided to move this exchange into a community!

Please join and watch the community for update. Some of the rules have been changed, which are included below! It is in regards to how you will turn in your fic.

- Please do not post your fic anywhere before the due date!

- As you complete your fics and have them beta-read, you will send them in an attachment (.docx, .rtf, .doc) to my email: cresents@gmail.com. In the body of the email, you will include the following information: title, LJ username, rating/warnings, short summary, and author notes. I will then post your fic in the community (your username won't be added until the due date, which is May 30th) and the recipient can enjoy their gift as well anxiously wait for your name to be revealed. Please remember that you need to hold off from posting your fic anywhere or telling anyone which fic is yours until the due date. At that point, you're free to do whatever you wish with your fic ( ... )

--5 people who never understood X
--4 reasons X looked the other way, and 1 reason X didn’t

Any Specific Things/Elements You'd Like Included/Excluded: Please no slash or femme-slash, incest, or cross-gen. I like canon pairings for the most part. I’d love to see something with an adult’s take on wizarding children’s story (Beedle or something you’ve made up), but if that’s too hard don’t worry about it. Have fun! I’ll be excited with whatever I get.

3 - 5 'Five Things' Prompts: The 5 greatest regrets of so-and-so, the 5 oppposing personalities of so-and-so, the 5 times when magic wasn't enough, the 4 ways s/he got what they wanted (and the one time they didn't).
Any Specific Things/Elements You'd Like Included/Excluded: Romance, either explicit or hinted at, tragedy if appropriate, I don't mind angst but too much is just depressing, same with fluff. Whatever suits the writer, really :)
What You Can Write: Romance, unrequited situations, tragedy, I can write non-canon pairings, but I'm bad with those that go against my ships (i.e. i can't write Lily or Hermione with anyone else besides James or Ron respectively) but anyone else I'm quite okay with.
What You Can't Write: I have yet to try angst, I could do it subtley I imagine but I wouldn't want to disappoint. Slash, femmeslash ( ... )

Any Specific Things/Elements You'd Like Included/Excluded: I love fluff and comedy, I am pro-canon, and am pretty anti: incest, multi-generational lovin'... I think that is about it
What You Can Write: I like to write Ron/Hermione and Molly/Arthur, I haven't branched out much from there yet (but I'm willing), cute fluff, short angsty things, canon things and not necessarily canon but not un-canon things

I have in fact received my assignment and I'm glad I decided to reread the e-mail before you had to yell at me for not replying!

I have absolutely no problems with my assignment, which is exciting, because I was getting nervous... I don't think that I could write a replacement fic,I'm going to have to kick myself in the bum enough to get this one done.

If birdseyeview drops out, I would definitely want it posted in the archive, that way it can live on in infamy... or something like that...
