This is super late, I know, but can what I write double for a writing thing I am doing over on tumblr (writer's month 2020, not a landcomm, no points)? Their theme for today matches this, so I thought about combining them. If that's not okay, obviously that's fine.
Sorry to budge in, but if I were you, I would just post what I have. They don't have to give points if it's not okay. But I feel that when time is limited, it's better to post than wait for an answer. Since we're all in different timezones, you might not be online when they are.
Thanks, I already decided to not fill both prompts with one entry. You definitely have a point about timezones, it's half an hour after midnight here, the challenge ends tomorrow morning at nine and I'm gonna sleep now and sleep until then, so, yeah. The writer's month entry isn't that time sensitive and I have another idea for it, so that's fine. :D
Jon fixated on the tiny dragon in front of him. The creature stood on the table, peering at the king perplexedly. Jon returned its gaze, exasperatedly. "No."
The dragon ignored him, as usual. So far in its training, it was clearly the victor. It raised its wings and again attempted to breathe fire. Jon ducked as the minuscule flame passed him. His son had inherited the Targaryen trait of fire immunity, but he had not.
"Daor," Missandei corrected as she passed by on her way to the prince's nursery.
Jon sighed. "Daor," he dutifully repeated, wishing Daenerys was still alive.
