I love college

I'm sitting in a coffee shop discussing politics with a guy friend who completely opposes my political views, but respects my arguments

The only problem is that I'm failing at defending Sarah Palin... eh whatever

AHH finals are over and minimester is overrrrr.  No more four hours a day of hebrew and we start getting a food budget.  Which is only 35 shekels a day (10 dollars), but its something.  and we get public bus passes!!!  yay ( Read more... )

Jules Gutin came to talk to our program this past weekend.  He's the Director of Youth Activities for the United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism.  Basically, he's a huge deal.  He talked to us about the Conservative Movement:  its beliefs, its unique positions on things, and the difference between the movement and the people in the movement.  It ( Read more... )
