I'm just home from Manchester and you are beautiful at keeping your word. I had 5 chapters to catch up on and each one was better than the next.

Please don't have Merrick turn out to be an evil bastard, I quite like him so long as he doesn't decide Sam is a loon.

First of all:
"Nurse Ratched?" Sam asked in horror.

"Rachel," Merrick corrected. = LOL!
Second, Gene is gonna feel guilty when he realizes his meddling may have worsened Sam's condition. He's not had an easy time lately, has he?

You know when Graham said "but the issue of superior is questionable" part f my brain was singing mistake (too much scrubs) but he totally deserved Gene getting him! Glad Chris will be alright but I still need my poor sam comment. Great as always.

Another evil cliffhanger! Okay, I'm a lurker who started reading near somewhere in the middle and became very used to your nice two-part chapters. Then your chapters shortened, and started ending on cliffhangers! So mean!

Love your writing. Good luck with the next chapter.

Hopefully you'll have a chance to post soon, especially since I have no life.

Thank you! Well, the first few chapters did start out as cliffhangers as well, then they sort of disappeared, and now they've reemerged again. Sorry about them! (I hate them, too, when I'm not using them myself.)

I do hope to have the next part up soon, maybe just a day or so.
