Sam Tyler raised an eyebrow as he watched Gene Hunt rapidly spoon a can of baked beans into a bowl, and then proceed to cover it in a liberal wash of whiskey.  “Gov, that cannot possibly have any nutritional value whatsoever; in fact…” he was cut off by a loud snort.

“Nutritional value?  You gonna make me sit through some ( Read more... )

The interaction between the characters is cannon, spot on :)

Okay... wow. I'm in desperate need of more. This is gorgeous and chilling and I'm actually pretty scared, of this and whats to come because it sounds like its going to get worse, which is awesome. I can't wait for the next chapters.

Thanks very much for reading and commenting; I'm hoping that future parts don't disappoint. Things do get worse, because there is one hell of a twisted and evil bunny inside my head; I swear, I don't know how he got there.

Twisted and evil bunnies are always the best. You should feed them and watch them mutate and grow into mosnter bunnies. And yay for things getting worse, abusing Sam has become way too fun for me, I almost feel sorry for him. ;)

Erm.... If this is green cortina I don't know how I'm going to do with the rest of it when you work up to red...

I don't usually read horror fiction, so while I'm familiar in general with the works of Harris & King I found myself skim reading over certain portions of this... and I'm sorry for that.

The characterization is brilliant, right from that opening scene with Gene. Ray's brown nosing and the Annie and Chris bits were just so great and the level of description overall is just terrific.

I look forward to reading more.

Brit pick. Never gas, always petrol. In this case probably accelerator. You do brilliantly well on the Brit slang.

Ooh - I didn't know that about the pedals - I knew that gasoline was petrol, but not that the gas pedal was always the accelerator - thanks!

And I'm sorry if it squicked you a bit - I hope that you can make it through, but I'll totally understand if you don't want to. And thanks very much for commenting :)

Absolutely gripping start to your story. You've got the characters 'spot on' and me sitting on the edge of my chair!. I am so looking forward to reading the forthcoming chapters of your story. Well done!
