Sam Tyler raised an eyebrow as he watched Gene Hunt rapidly spoon a can of baked beans into a bowl, and then proceed to cover it in a liberal wash of whiskey.  “Gov, that cannot possibly have any nutritional value whatsoever; in fact…” he was cut off by a loud snort.

I'm glad you're liking it, not to mention fixing all of my typos. My first attempt to send you Part 3 didn't work out due to an error in my Outlook - apparently, gmail through Outlook doesn't like Vista, either - or it's just user error - so I sent it through the gmail web application this morning. Part 4 is ready, too, as soon as you are. I really appreciate it :)

o_0 << is about the best comment I can come up with.

I wish I could put into words just how gripping this story is... but I can't! ^-^

I'm scared!!!!!! The description of Sam's injuries was so vivid... too vivid some might say... so vivid I was holding my own throat whilst reading!

Well, that's just...neat!

Very cool and very creepy. It has that sort of deliriously exciting opening that very quickly takes a turn for the surreal in fine LoM fashion and I look forward to the continuation.

Also, title suggestion: Jabberwocky, perhaps? Because nothing says symbolism like a Lewis Carroll reference. :)

Thanks very much for the title suggestion - come to think of it, that just might work... In fact, it might even effect part of the story later on... Oooh, you just re-bunnied me! And now I'm very grateful! Oooh...

Your descriptions are evocative and compelling - particularly the image of being pinned like a butterly as it sums up his utter helplessness completely in a few words. Will be anticipating the other parts eagerly.
