Notes: For danae_b, prompt: Alex Drake, Maya Roy, BAMFy action scene. I'm sorry I couldn't quite manage the third part, so I went for Maya and Alex any way I could. I attempted to tell a (very AU) story with the graphics, which I'll elaborate on

Skyyyyyyyyyyyyyy this is brilliant!!! :D Your gifs look amazing! They're so smooth, and I love how you've managed to put new images in the tv/laptop screens :D And the joins between the programs are so seamless, you can't even tell that it's two or three things joined together! Thank you so much for appreciating the TV screen, I scratched my head over it for HOURS. I had to resize and centre about 40 Maya frames over the backdrop of Alex's telly. Then I dropped a ton of frames when I had to make the filesize smaller anyhow, because it wouldn't play. So yes. Much frustration, but much happy now it's done and it forms part of the story I wanted to tell. :D

Graphics and gifs will forever remain a mystery to me, so I'm just completely in awe over what you did with this prompt. ♥ You put so much effort into looking for fitting scenes and meshed them, and the result is just.... gorgeous. <33333333333333 I have to admit that Maya/Alex isn't exactly something I think about a lot, but the way you made it work here makes so much sense to me - especially the part about Maya looking after newly-awakened coma patients! That gave me a bit of heartbreak as well though. ; v; <3333

So yes - absolutely amazing job getting this prompt to work. ♥

*hugglessssssss* Thanks for encouraging me while I was making them <3333 I really wasn't sure I'd have enough material to make the scenes, but I ended up with more than I needed in the end.

Glad I could make this ship work for you! I think about various femslash permutations of the LoM/A2A characters from time to time, and all the relationships have points in their favour.

Ooooh, Sky! This is super neat! I have to say that I honestly never really thought about these two characters together before, which was an obvious oversight on my part as they are contemporaries in the same field and could very easily have an opportunity to meet even outside of an AU context.

I like the story you've created, and the way it ties in elements from both series. The femslash isn't hurting either-- I could jive with that pairing! It makes a pleasing amount of sense.

The gifs look great, too. Way cool!

Yes, indeed!!! I would have loved to see them talk about Sam, and then not about Sam, and then about crime and how to solve it. They've both got very good instincts, and both are wicked smart to boot.

Skyyyy this is so great I LOVE IT SO MUCH, THANK YOU <33333 So yeah they aren't being particularly bamf here but you know they will have adventures and then the bamfiness will just follow along. Also, the femslashiness is fine, I kind of ship these two so that's okay XD I'm glad you did this because I love the imagined chemistry these two would have and you really did it so much justice here, it's brilliant. And Maya looking for those newly awakened coma patients. Just. Heartbreak, ow.

I am truly sorry for the lack of visible bamfness!!! I wanted to have them back-to-back wielding guns, and that's where I started with the banner of Alex, until I just couldn't find a Maya equivalent screencap. She's in LoM so briefly, and large parts of that we only hear her voice. I only got round to watching one Archie Panjabi film (I'd gladly watch her in many more, she's so stunning) and sadly it did not contain exactly what I wanted.

But I'm glad you can imagine it, nonetheless <3333333333 Thank you SO DAMN MUCH for the prompt, we need more femslash around here and I jump at the opportunity to do some.
