Title: What If It Was Real?

Pairing: Maya Roy/Alex Drake
Format: One poster/wall + gifset
Notes: For danae_b, prompt: Alex Drake, Maya Roy, BAMFy action scene. I'm sorry I couldn't quite manage the third part, so I went for Maya and Alex any way I could. I attempted to tell a (very AU) story with the graphics, which I'll elaborate on in this post. Sources used are Life on Mars (spoilers for 2x08), Ashes to Ashes (spoilers up to 3x01), Identity (ITV 2010) and Espion(s) (2009).
Alex sees Maya in 1981, and, recognising her from Sam's file in 2007, threatens her (Alex is a little deranged and desperate at the time!)

When Alex wakes up in hospital she sees Maya on the TV screen...
And when she's well enough to leave, Maya's waiting to drive her home. Alex sings 'hope you're happy too'.
Alex eventually goes back to work in 2008, she gets a phonecall.
Maya's put together Alex's previous research on Sam's case with newspaper clippings from the 70s and 80s, and it's freaking her out.
Alex tries to explain to her as best she can. Tries to convince Maya that the same thing happened to all three of them, though Maya doesn't remember being back in time. (Maya turned up at the hospital because looking out for newly-awakened coma patients is kind of a thing she does now, after Sam's death.)
Then I threw in some femslash, because I couldn't resist. XD I'll leave it up to you to decide whether they went back to the 80s or not.
