If it's going to be in the US you probably need to make sure we know where you'll be in plenty of advance so we can get organised to be there...

Yeah, we're going to do that as soon as possible. I feel kind of bad putting it so far away from a lot of people, but it's one of those unavoidable things- who do you inconvenience? Does putting it in one place or another exclude anyone entirely? Tricksy.

Well if it's the side of the US I think it is, they say the fall is very nice there.

Either way, you will be holding some kind of UK-oriented party also, I guess?

I think so. Probably later in the year, not sure when. Not during any big larp events!

Apparently some super-efficient, wedding-loving part of the Mclaughlin family's collective brain has swung into action, and picked out somewhere good and leafy as a good spot. It's an arboretum with a labyrinth and many trees, I'm told, but I'm not sure where it actually is. I feel I'm powerless to stop these wheels from turning, but the train goes somewhere nice so that's ok.

Hey, there's nothing wrong with having a wedding on a larp event weekend!

That sounds like a really nice venue. It's nice to have other people helping with the planning I think, it can get really hectic otherwise.

Congratulations!

Best wishes and good luck to you both.

No, no, it won't be on Hallowe'en, I need it to be on the 29th, on my younger brother's birthday.

See how he likes THEM apples. A better piece of family one-upmanship you won't find.
