On an infinitely more depressing note, my mom's friend's 11 year-old niece died on Tuesday.

Her mom took her to the hospital because she had a 105 degree fever.
They turned her away because her mom didn't have health insurance or a job.
She died at home. Untreated.

I just wanted to update and say that Kisa came home on Sunday. Very weak. She lost every speck on fat on her. I don't know how much longer she had wherever she was. We think she got trapped somewhere.

Anyway, I couldn't be happier. The end.
