Harper's Island
her for ruining that couple's engagement, him for kind of attempting to drown Chloe
...seriously? That couple was terrible (wasn't there some reference to them constantly fighting/breaking up all the time?) and he only proposed because he thought the ring was a sign from the universe. And, er, when did Cal attempt to drown her?

Fat Guy's name is Malcolm. I only know this because I read every article I can get my hands on and the names gradually sank into my perma-consciousness; I wouldn't have picked up on most of them in one go.

Your belief that Trish will die has perked me up a bit, though. I've basically seen zero horror movies so I don't understand all these tropes that everyone automatically knows and can use to predict various events; everything is surprising to me. But I've been hoping for that death for a while.

CSI: MiamiRemember when we all thought Horatio having a random teenage son was the most crack-addled concept ever? It's good to know they finally succeeded in 1-upping it. God, this spoiler is ( ... )

I don't know about the couple constantly fighting and breaking up. I didn't pay attention that closely. I just think that it's wrong to break up a couple, who were extremely happy (at least in that moment), and essentially kill all possibility of them ever getting back together again. Especially when Chloe had the money to replace the ring (I think). I personally feel that there were better ways to get the ring back. Mugging the woman, for instance. :D ( ... )

The reason he loses the ring is because she gets rightfully pissy about being held underwater against her will.
Oh yeah. But first she freaked him out by disappearing, so. Turnabout is fair play. There are no rules in the water! Now I am just making up crap as I go along and should probably have deleted all of this.

Although in her case, oddly enough, the re-aging fits in with the original aging of the children. o_O
Huh. I guess some things DO become right if you make them wrong enough.

I wouldn't mind dunking her underwater in theory. But they made it seem like he actually wanted to kill her for it. In an attempt to make people guess who was gonna bite it first, they kind of ruined his character. Kind of like how Richard (I think) nearly killed Trish in the pool; there was no coming back from that for him.

I guess some things DO become right if you make them wrong enough. Why do I get the impression that that is the actual motto for the show? D:
