I just love how Cho in confronting Harry says the famous "Darling Hermione" and Harry never bothers to refute it. Hee hee. Love my new icon. Yeah, talk about sexual tension, yum yum.

So started rereading the books even though I am also only 1/4th of way ( Read more... )

That's an interesting point about DD's reaction to Hagrid's meeting Sirius, when he belived Sirius to be the secret keeper and therefore seemingly the betrayer of the Potter's whereabouts to Voldy.

I've also questioned DD's motives for placing Harry with the Dursleys, but hadn't thought of the love problem. I also thought McGonagall probably would've challenged DD's explanation of why he was leaving Harry on the Dursley's doorstep, in the middle of the night, with only a note to explain, just a little more than she did.

Aren't the by-the-lake scene pictures fabulous? It shows where the real sexual tension is in the Trio - H/Hr fights are so much hotter than R/Hr ones.

Mmm, so I suppose the Dumbledore-is-evil cliche in amateur fics wasn't so far off, after all. He's at least a bit of an idiot at times, if not a completely manipulative arsehat. Fascinating.

Oh, and hello, there. Thought I'd randomly comment, since HP musings are always a good LJ icebreaker.

I don't exactly hate DD, but I AM mad at him for lying to Harry all through the fifth book and I'm BITTER about that. Yeah, it's going to take me a while to get over that.

I just think that as much as DD claims to care about Harry, there were a billion ways he could have made life easier for him. Evil? I don't know. Maybe. I think there's a possibility.

The "glint of triumph" Harry saw in his eyes in GoF always gave me the wiggins.
