This line just made me sit up, eyes wide, and do a double-take: "And he'll sit at their table and listen to his own voice string together words like 'hoses' and 'acid' and 'playground' and people will clap approvingly while he's lost somewhere in the horror of it all." And from here on in, everything made me want to cry. You really know how to beat folks in the soft places. With sharp things. ;_;

It was interesting to get a peek inside a supervillains head -- typically we don't really get to see the human aspect of them until either their dead, or someone can be bothered to get up and point out that 'hey, they were people too y'know'.
He definitely needs to be saved, poor guy. *ker sniff*

I think that would work, it's what superheroes are for after all :) Though I also kind of like the idea of Hammer being broken too.
