I'm a long-time semi-devotee, but I still wasn't entirely expecting it. He AMBUSHED US with his adorable characters and catchy tunes! *shakes fist*

(I suppose it says something that I don't have any happy icons from this show...)

My pleasure, man. Good fic deserves praise. And I'm glad to see from the thread above that you're thinking of writing other stuff! And - oh, I just realised that I already read that Horrible/Hammer fic you wrote, "Ceasefire". (But I forgot to comment. Because I suck. D: *goes to rectify that*)

He needs many hugs. :/ Maybe if he'd had more hugs previously, he wouldn't have gone mental and all this could have been averted. Solution: the Time-Travel Hug-O-Matic!

I'm definitely thinking of writing other stuff. For a forty odd minute musical is does give some rather nifty ideas and I can't resist ideas.

I think there was definitely a sad lack of hugs in Billy's life, maybe there were no hugs at all. I approve of some sort of Time-Travel as a path to more hugs solution.

Wow. That's just so...heartbreaking and wonderful and true. Poor little Billy using Dr. Horrible to get through the day, which is only turning him insane. *hughughug* This kind of defines everything that makes me want to *squish* Billy all the time. He's just so breakable and vulnerable and fragile and all that.

Thank you so much, I couldn't resist that though, the using Dr. Horrible to shield himself from the world, only for Dr. Horrible to not want to leave. Because he is so very vulnerable and fragile underneath. And he needs to be squished!

Ooh I loved this. It seems like a very realistic path for Billy's life to go down. With Doctor Horrible just completely taking over, and letting his old personality wither away in the background, watching in horror as his evil persona embarks on things he never really intended to do.

It is very poignant and beautiful, I think you captured Billy and his loss perfectly.

Thank you! I couldn't resist writing something broken after the finale, at least once, because he looked so very broken in that last scene. But that's it exactly, the way he let his personality just wither away (and didn't even notice at first.)
