The state of AZ has a humongous deficit which means budget cuts for CPS and probably every other agency. Our OT is completely gone except for emergencies. We now have to flex so we only work 40 hours a week (or I guess work more without the extra pay). I'm just grateful that I still have a job and hope the cuts will be enough so there won't be ( Read more... )

I got a 93 on my midterm in EPS 605 which was much better than I thought I did. The class is really focused on teachers and techniques for the classroom, but the professor has even made it interesting for me, a non-teacher. I'm recruiting my family of teachers to get ideas for my presentation, but after I get through that it should be smooth ( Read more... )

I now have a titanium implant working like a tent pole to hold up my left ear drum. It's supposed to help with my drum being so retracted. The surgeon put some gel inside my ear to keep the implant in place until my ear heals enough to do this on its own. He also gave me a card stating that the implant is MRI compatible in case I would need an MRI ( Read more... )
