She used to share it with Buffy, this late night secret. If either couldn't sleep, no matter where they were, they knew that the other would answer the phone and that they could share this together. It soothed them, calmed them and took them away from the realities of life as a slayer and a witch.
Buffy's gone.
She still needs soothing, still needs calming. Tara does her best and most of the time it works but, there's always something... missing.
On the nights where sleep is particularly elusive, like tonight, she slips downstairs and powers up the laptop. The folder she navigates to is titled BAWLS - Buffy and Willow's little secret - and for a moment she hesitates, finger hovering over the mouse before clicking open the first file.
She sits in silence, a bittersweet smile tuggin at her lips. It takes untill the chorus of the opening theme for the tears to start.
Gummi Bears
Bouncing here and there and everywhere.
High adventure that's beyond compare.
They are the Gummi Bears.
