Who: Megamind (brokeruletwo ) and Roxanne (keptonbreathing ) What: Megamind botched his last plan. Roxanne wants answers. Where: Evil Lair When: Early July
She'd had to enlist Minion for the task. Roxanne knew that she could never bust Megamind out of prison on her own - she'd need help, help that only his faithful servant could provide.
Things had been awkward and boring the last sixty or so days, and poor Minion had shown up on her doorstep on more than one occasion, frantically wringing his projected, human looking hands as he told her, shakingly, that he'd nearly been hit by a bus as he'd crossed the street in an attempt to look normal. Minion wasn't accustomed to day to day life, and as a result, Roxanne had found herself a roommate more often than not on some instances

Blindfolded and tied up, Megamind noted as he tried to move his arms to remove the blindfold. What the hell was going on? Was Minion afraid he would make a run for it if he wasn't physically restrained?
...Alright, so that wasn't entirely impossible, but Megamind wasn't sure what to think about being the one bound and blindfolded for once. The restraints, while not that uncomfortable, just felt wrong - and, with a stab of guilt, he wondered if that was how Miss Ritchi had felt every single time he kidnapped her.
It was a good thing he'd never be doing it again.
When cold metal hands that undeniably belong to a certain sentimental simian pick him up, he let out a small sigh of relief. Even though Minion had gone against direct orders and had gone so far as to blindfold and bind him, it was a relief to know he hadn't - for some obscure, unknowable reason - been legitimately kidnapped.
Not that he could think of anyone who would want to kidnap him from jail, but that was beside the point

There was, briefly, a flash of the fish as he reappeared behind a shaking Roxanne, looking particularly anxious as he dry washed cold, robotic hands
( ... )
"You--but--Minion! Minion! Get me down from here!"
Megamind stared at Minion, honestly boggled for one of the few times in his life. At what point, exactly, had Minion decided that he could pick and choose which orders to listen to?
...Oh, that's right. It was probably somewhere around the time Megamind told him he was in charge of himself from now on. He could see how that might have a negative impact on performance, but he hadn't expected to need to order Minion again; if everything had gone according to plan, he would still be in prison.
Instead, he was suspended in chains over the alligator pit with Roxanne Ritchi - a woman who had every reason to hate him, including one she would never know about - holding the power over his life.
Maybe it wouldn't be such a bad thing, he mused, looking down at the snapping alligators. Not the quickest way to go, but quicker than some methods, and it would mean that Roxanne wouldn't get her information.
...Except the woman was far too competent a reporter to simply throw away her only
