Thanks, Luna! I've been trying to find info on the results for awhile here, and can't quite. I mean, I think I've found the relevant California Secretary of State's website, but... are there really all these other candidates, including another Dem and nine more Repubs? And would they break down the results by party?

Vote Returns from California's 50th

It does update at intervals, but the numbers aren't changing... although, polls only close an hour ago, so that may not mean anything.

Wait! I get it. They've got the same format going for every site, and it's formatted like all the other districts, which are holding primaries. So it's like, Busby has 89% of the Democratic vote. (Who's that other guy?)

At the moment, Francine Busby has 12,036 votes, and Brian Bilbray has 11,071, with 11.4% of districts reporting.

Those numbers have barely budged for hours. (Both went up by 300 without the percentage of districts reporting changing... go figure.) The status by county page shows an update at 11:35pm local time, and now 257 districts reporting. (They say 13.5% reporting, but can't refer to precincts, because there are only 500 districts.) However, there's been no update that reflects that on the 50th district page, as of 12:15 Pacific Time.

I'm going to sleep, anyone, feel free to post further updates here.

I should have gone right to the blogs: according to Kos, with under half of precincts reporting, Bilbray is ahead of Busby 49.67 to 44.70. I don't know how likely that is to swing, but I'm for bed anyways.
