I don't know about you, but the cross I wear around my neck every day reminds me that I'm totally supposed to ignore the Bible.

Except for the parts where I have to hate gay people. And avoid shellfish. And not wear pants. Because those parts are the ones that God is talking to me. I had to start going to the Unitarian church, because at some point I couldn't deal with the hellfire and guilt-trips.

Although sometimes Unitarianism feels more like a drum circle than a real church, but at least I don't have to hear about how I'm going to hell for kissing a girl.
