Part of me just can't be bothered to give up something which I like so much though. It's depriving myself, ultimately unnecessarily, of something which I enjoy. What's actually the point in it?
I started because I thought I needed to cut down on my caffeine intake and because I thought I should try going without it for Lent. But when I got back from Expo the other day I just really wanted a cup of tea, so I had one. And I've kind of just decided that giving it up is a rather pointless exercise.
It's not like I depend on it ... it's just that I enjoy it. And it's not like drinking it is particularly harmful, and I've managed to cut down the amount I drink. I would rather just drink it and be happy than agonise over going without it until Easter, at which point I would resume drinking it as normal.
Anyway, I don't really feel like arguing the point, but I hope that makes sense. ^_^
