Slight crisis point in my life... Does this mean I'm having my mid-life crisis at 30 instead of 37?

Okay, I'm breaking my personal rule here by posting this entry, but I'm pretty sure I'm reaching a very critical point in my life and I need an outlet to voice my frustrations and fears.  Right now, next to my best bud

Oh man, I kind of understand where you're coming from. I don't like the hospital related jobs either because a lot of the jobs there causes a lot of stress and they're very difficult.

And it sucks having to put your dreams on hold. My mom had to give up her dream of being an artist/painter just so she can survive in the states. She's a lab tech now.

Then again, she's pretty stable.

My mom is, too, but then I don't know what she wanted to do with her life. She's always had to settle, it seems like, and I need to break this pattern I've gotten myself into.

Again, though, only time will tell so . . . -shrugs- We'll see what I do.

Oh wow. I wish I magically could give you the solution but I'm stumped. I guess it does depend on how much you're willing to settle on. Weighing the pros versus the cons and all that fun stuff. Best of luck to you.

There really is no magical or easy solution to all of this, and I think what's really frustrating me is I want to do something that I haven't done before in terms of work, which is impossible at this moment in time. So that leaves me falling back on health care and it's becoming a very vicious cycle.

I'll figure something out. Hopefully I'll have good news by the end of the week. ^_^

I think at the end of the day, you need to work with what you have. I think you hate Wendy's more than you would hate working this job because at least you have a chance here to make more money and that will cushion the job for you ( ... )

I don't know what the actual schedule is going to be, other than it's an overnight shift from 7:30 to 7:30, full time. Shifts in a hospital are different from shifts in a nursing home. Working twelve hour shifts five days a week really isn't the issue. It's me tired of having to fall back on health care every time I need a job.

I'm still kind of sitting on the fence over this job and whether or not I'm going to return the application, but it is an option I'm going to keep available until I get a few other things realized. ^_^

I'm feeling much better. LOL. Amazing what sleep can do for a person.
