The kittens are still here, and I'm still working on them. Lisa is sweet and friendly and can go to a new home whenever (although he should probably get his final de-worming pill first. That's due next week), but Lenny and Digger are not very tame. I'm afraid Digger will never be friendly to people, and Lenny may always be shy. The two of them

It's tough because Lisa tamed quickly, and James and Abby (their older siblings) tamed quickly, so I'm thinking that by now they ought to be tamer than they are. Maybe my expectations are too high. They are improving a little bit, though -- last night we had a pretty good play session and Digger purred. But he still hisses at me every time I do something he doesn't like, and I don't even try petting him because I know he'll react badly.

Yeah, lack of energy is one of the hallmarks of depression. I'm not sure how to fight these moods.

And now rain is expected on Sunday, which is bad because not only would it be miserable on a cold rainy day (it'll be chilly too), but it might not be safe to be in a quarry during a lot of rain. We may have to cancel :\ This is a once-a-year trip, unfortunately.
