i like that you start out with dialogue. that's not something i do so often...at least i don't think i do. *will test this now*

Thanks! What I really love about starting with dialogue, is that as a reader, you're instantly 'at the scene'. It's very lively.
Are you going to do this meme too? It's really interesting!

i agree. i like dialogue and i do use it, but somehow it seems i don't start with it so often. apparently i like to open with a short statement of some sort and then explore it/paint a little scene in a few more sentences before the dialogue or whatever else starts.

i've filled out 25 slots now and i'm wondering if i should skip all the chapters of the same story (leaving only the last chapter) and fill in other stuff or leave it like this.... hmmm...

It's fun to play with all these different ways to open a story :)

Hmm, I mainly write chapters for one ongoing story, so I used those, plus stuff from standalone ficlets, all in chronological order.
