Mine just plain disappear and never return. If you complain about it they give you a $5 coupon. Whee.

I love the running w/ scissors thing you have there!

It was almost always the same two. I'd replace them, and they'd disappear again. But I never got the random replacement bug.
I don't recall where I ganked the running with scissors--feel free to copy it.

It is in fact a known bug. Somewhere I have synecdochic's explanation of how it happens -- something to do with cache-retrieval errors.

Yeah the aether-gremlins apparently heard me & gave it back.

They're going down tomorrow to fix some stuff. Maybe this will be fixed.

They do eventually come back, but it took about a month in my case (this one, which was jacked by a random badly fonted Dean Winchester icon).

Oh, that's pretty. I'm glad it reappeared! And it seems that the aether-gremlins heard me and gave it back already, so I'm happy about that.

They still need to fix the underlying issue, though.
