*Squeees* Oh, this was a fun read. Makes me hungry for baked goods as well, especially ones with lots of spice. You painted the scenes so exquisitely. ^______^

Thank you! And there is a fruitcake here with your name on it, if you would like.

Also a hat :-)

What a lovely story. Very sexy and well written. It almost makes me want to eat fruitcake and I hate fruitcake.

Methos contributed the occasional provocative statement, mostly to keep Duncan going. -- This captures the essence of Methos. Lovely story. And I have to agree with Pat, makes me want to try fruitcake again. Maybe I've never had a good one...

Thank you! And that really does illustrate Methos doesn't it? That was one of those sentences that just appears magically on the page and grins at one. I am so glad you liked this.

*Sends good-fruitcake-finding thoughts*

Oh, well done!
Food story, Yule story, edible Methos, contemplative Duncan, and golden fruitcake. With extras. I love these fruitcakes together in the dark.

Lovely sensory details and descriptions of fruit jewels and buttery Methos. I love all kinds of fruitcake. I can't wait for Carene to discover this, too -- she bakes them every year.
