Perfectly lovely, warm and sweet with a dark, smooth richness and hidden secret treats inside - just like its putative subject. *g* I re-read it while eating a slice (OK, 2 slices..) of the delightful fruitcake you made and shared with me last week. Such a wonderful treat for such a dreary afternoon... you've lifted my spirits entirely. Mahalo nui!

Oh, and thanks also for the linked article on Stir Up Sunday, I had no idea the significance of the line the first time through. But the Latin is lovely!
