*hugs you a bunch* It sounds like taking something that was supposed to be fun and turning it into work, and who needs that?

Sure you are good at the facts, figures and analysis of stuff - that's what you get PAID for. The out and out creative, original, hands-on stuff is what you do for FUN. I get it. Do you know someone who would enjoy the write-up stuff you could talk to and they fill in the forms while you make something for them? Sounds like a fair trade to me.

I do reports and research for work, while I do plenty of my own research on different fields, I don't compelled to write a book report about it. Paperwork isn't what drew me to the SCA, I always thought that the purpose of this was to take things out of books and bring them to life, and not to put my research and creative process onto paper, if you want to know about what I do, just ask. I find it completely unappealing to recreate grad-school in my free time in the SCA.

I am surprised, you don't like doing documentation. I am not surprised that you prefer the free hand and creative end.
I hate trying to sum up what I have learned or know about something in a few papers. when I put so much of myself into something it should speak for itself.

Yes. That. The piece should speak for itself, and the summation (and the _footnotes_) are the real problem.
