My class today, Intro to Film Aesthetics, is a freshman film class that I was actually signed up for freshman year and then I dropped it to take this BS class called Art of Story that we were told we had to take, when really we didn't. Since then, it hasn't ever fit in my schedule or my registration date has been too late, so here I am as a junior

learn to enjoy the easy A. and have fun feeling superior. i always loved that when i had to take intro classes as an upperclassman. :)

yeah that's what i was hoping, but it's hard to not get really bored when it's a three hour class. plus there's still two long papers. ah well

awww. three hours IS a long time. you could always fuck with the frosh and talk about obscure things during class. or send them completely off the yellow brick road and talk about things that don't make any sense. :D

i did feel special when the prof asked if anyone knew who john cassavetes was and me and like one other person out of 90 people had heard of him. i should start talking about all these random movies they won't hear about until they get to history of film haha
