Of course if she did press him on it he would totally insist that he'd say the same thing to Teal'c in a moment like that if Teal'c were saving their asses. He'd say it in the same way he does when he's caught eating the last cookie, and swears he isn't, while still chewing on it, and she wouldn't believe him for a second. They'd both hope Daniel would believe him, and know Teal'c wouldn't. Love the stupid-cute.

Yay! It's always seemed odd to me that they never said "I love you" in any of their near-death moments. Thank you for remedying that :)

I am such a sucker for the near-death 'I love you'. I'm writing two chapter fics at the moment, and both of them will feature near-death professions of love >.<

It just seems so logical to me >.< So much of Sam/Jack's relationship is about the way they work together in the field. So saying "I love you" under-fire is kind of in keeping with that side of their relationship ^^;
