I doubt the creators of Spartacus: Blood and Sand could have come up with a sillier name for their show, but when I look at all the promo pics that have been released, I really don't care all that much.

I've been so excited about this ever since someone posted about the show in their LJ. It looks ridiculous, but the pretty women and men. Some days I enjoy a dose of the shallows.

Hee, I remember when AfterEllen first posted a picture of Lucy Lawless with red hair and practically half-naked, my interest for this project grew instantly from zero to max. Besides, based on a couple of reviews on the first two eps that I've read, the response has been quite positive. Not that I necessarily require plot and in-depth characterization in order to watch, but I wouldn't say no to them either!

I'm deeply ashamed to admit, but I've never watched Xena. I think Lucy is utterly gorgeous, though, and the show will hold my interest as long as she will continue to be on it.

Didn't you have that one with Xena and Gabrielle a while back? Getting frisky in the pond/lake?

Heh, Xena is one of those shows where the quality of the episodes varies a great deal - I mean really. But I love every single episode, and Xena still has one of my top 5 tv episodes ever, When Fates Collide.

Yes! :) I have a few uploaded on DW. I should decide which ones to get rid off on LJ first. Hmmm. At least not the Morgana or Gillian Anderson ones!
