As usual,
lewis_challenge is excited to use the approaching Valentine’s Day as an excuse to celebrate the loveliness of Lewis fandom. Thus, we are thrilled to present...
Wall of Love serves too primary purposes: 1) Chance to express your love for Lewis and Lewis fandom and 2) Chance to leave prompts for Valentine’s Weekend Love Spectacular (14-16/02/2014).
What can you post here? Well, really anything that is a) Lewis related and b) cause of positive feelings. For example...
- What you love about the show, e.g. favourite episodes, show some love for the characters (minor ones too!), writers, directors etc.
- Rec your favourite fanworks. Send a love note for writers, artists, mixers, vidders, betas etc. If you admire someone’s work but have never confessed your tender feelings, well now is the time to correct that!
- What you love about the fandom, tell us the story of how you fell in love with Lewis show and the Lewis fandom
- Leave prompts! As always we aim to encourage creativity so provide prompts for any new fanworks you would love to see posted, perhaps during the Valentine’s Weekend Love Spectacular. All prompts are welcome, only restriction is that they must fit the theme of ‘love’ (see below)
What’s this Valentine’s Weekend Love Spectacular then?
From Friday 14th to Sunday 16th of February,
lewis_challenge opens its doors (i.e. posting privileges) for all members to post any new fanworks on the theme of love, hopefully at least some of which are inspired by prompts in this post.
What do you mean that the theme is ‘love’, that’s kind of a broad concept isn’t it...?
Yes it is, and you are welcome to interpret it as suits you. Please feel free to go beyond romantic/sexual love and talk, rec, prompt etc on spiritual love, familial love, platonic love, friendship, love for material or abstract things such as love for certain objects (e.g. Hathaway’s love of his guitar), things/activities (e.g. love for literature and reading, Hobson’s love of medicine). Discussion, prompts and recs of the darker side of love (obsession, jealousy, doing the wrong thing out of love...) are also welcome but do provide warnings in the subject line if your comment includes something particularly graphic or potentially triggering.
Finally
Remember to keep it positive folks! No character or ship bashing! This post aims to be inclusive and love-filled so please respect differences in tastes.
PLEASE PIMP THIS POST FAR AND WIDE, FEEL FREE TO USE THE BANNER TO DO SO!
LET THE LOVING BEGIN! (wow, that sounded a bit skeevy... *g*)
