"Welcome to this one man show
Just take a seat, they're always free
No surprise, no mystery
In this theatre that I call my soul
I always play the starring role, so lonely
So lonely, so lonely, so lonely."

This book can have the emo soundtrack of your choice.
I choose Sting & Police and The Phantom of the Opera.

Harry Potter Book Seven, A Histery )

WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH! My poor Severus!
And the songs! Oh god! I thought about those songs too! But also RadioHead's Creep... totally reminds me of teenager Snape.

I must look for that one, then. This week, everything matches Snape's ULTRA sad story ;___________; What a final homage to this chara! I thought Rowling liked him less...

I TOTALLY AGREE WITH EVERYTHING YOU SAID. Yes, I read them all *A* (Well, I'm still a big Neville and Luna fan, though. xD)

RON. So much love for Ron and Snape and PERCY. Yes, my heart wrenched when Fred died--I even had to read it again to see if I was right. The twins weren't my favourites but I realized how much they meant to me when one of them was gone. GAH. SO SAD.

The ending was anti-climactic, actually. I was so emotional when Harry was marching to his death--then suddenly, he lived, and although the ending was still acceptable, it didn't move me.

I like them a lot! I am just not "OMG SQUEEE SQUEEEE" like most of the people because they are not what made me feel the most. Maybe because it was obvious how they should be there and do cool things and be good and loyal and all.

I had to read it several times, but then I was too caught up in Percy crying and angry at Harry for thinking Ron and Hermione would snog after something like that...It was a disappointing event. I still don't know how it happened though.

Anticlimatic is the word. Overkill. Well, underkill. But maybe for children this way is better? Things like that make me realize I am not a kid anymore.

"If you are prepared"? ¿Qué es, un fic? Link, please?

This is actually the first HP post I've read, because I knew you would do things in such a thoughtful manner. I never was a big Snape fan (never a Snape hater, either -- I merely tried to observe him neutrally) but this book and especially your thoughts on him have really warmed me up towards him. I'm curious on your thoughts regarding Lupin and Tonks' relationship! I admit that I'm a shameless S/R fan, so I was never very happy about it, but it seemed like Remus himself wasn't especially happy about it either, and while his reasoning was that he was ashamed of how their marriage would reflect on Tonks, this didn't quite feel like the entire answer to me, especially since Tonks didn't seem to really care. Perhaps it was a one-way sort of infatuation, but Remus thought (or had some reason to think) that he should go along with it and give it a try, because maybe he could try and regain some of the life he -- in a similar way to Snape -- had lost. I have no idea, and hence I am curious on your take!

I was a little happy that when he ( ... )

Oh, thanks! I wish I could have written it all better. It was much more powerfully felt and more ellocuently elaborated in my head than what I could write here ( ... )
