"Welcome to this one man show
Just take a seat, they're always free
No surprise, no mystery
In this theatre that I call my soul
I always play the starring role, so lonely
So lonely, so lonely, so lonely."
This book can have the emo soundtrack of your choice.
I choose Sting & Police and The Phantom of the Opera.

Harry Potter Book Seven, A Histery )
I am not that much of a Snape fan, but his relationship with Harry (canon and fanon, slashier)has always been one of the highlights of the story. It was very powerful, I could feel some tension there that I *hoped* was not limited to hatred for the father (I don't like James, by the way).
I was very let down by Remus' behaviour. Very kind to mary Tonks, who was truly in love with him, and as people say "war does that" and he was in dire need of some loving, but it was a path Rowling chose for this character that I don't like at all. Her choice, of course, and we must accept it. I still think Remus' happy times were those with the Marauders, and the possibility of him loving Sirius was truly there. I once believed he could be in love with Lily, but now I don't think so. He definitely wasn't happy about his marriage. He had chained himself to a life that wasn't what he really wanted. Yes, war and desperation do that, realistic. But sad because of that.
I was so happy to see him next to the other Marauders behind Harry. That was the true group, the two couples. I don't care for puppy love beyond canon, but thinking about Remus and Sirius being together in canon, after all their suffering, always made me smile : )
Reagarding the ending, she went for the traditional children's book ending: the hero survives, the kids are happy. She has never attempted to get literary credit. She seems contented enough to win the masses. And she won us all. But the ending felt incomplete, kind of sad and rushed up and "Let's be done with it already! here are some excuses. Now let me go and have some sleep --- the author's final rest after the cathartic experience of finishing HP)
