It only took a week to get my new passport. That was my biggest worry about the trip.

So it's official. The tickets have been purchased. We're going to Japan in June.

I hate humans!!!! Other than that and money (thus why I hate humans - and no Loki it doesn't have anything to do with a romantic interest). Everything else is going well. More later.

Damn, I came home and the new roommate has cleaned the kitchen. I love my new roommate. He pays the rent and cleans. I didn't know they existed! And my evil ass dog even likes him.

Had a lovely day today. My friends are slowly dragging me back into being an artist. Today we went to the marginy open gallery walk downtown. It's so nice to be able to talk about creating in the mists of destruction. God, I'm tired.

Ok, my return to NOLA has been a very surreal adventure. Between just dealing with the state of the city. Getting dumped by my boyfriend on my Birthday, Monday. Now someone is yelling out my name on Esplanade Blvd as the crows fuss over head. Lovely.
