Title: Someday We'll Know
Description: Landon and Jamie, the popular boy and the outcast girl - their strength, their changes, their heartache, their love. This is the way I see it, using the fabulous duet by Mandy Moore and Jonathan Foreman, titled 'Someday We'll Know'.

That is one of my favorite movies, and your video was even more emotional and wonderful as the movie. Good to see you creating again.

Nanette, it's so wonderful to hear from you. How cool that you love this film like I love this film. I don't know why it's been on my mind so much lately. It's probably due to listening to the song more often and then it getting a hold of me and not letting go. I'm really glad that it touched you and you gave me a comment. :)

I haven't really been vidding too much lately.. just working on real life stuff which really is more than I can chew anyway. I hope that things are going better for you these days. Maybe you'll give us an update soon?

oh dear, this movie must be some tear jerker........in any event that's what this vid is, and the dialog at the beginning makes no bones about it. i couldn't help but see it from his point of view - all the ways he tried to make her dreams come true in her final days (the scenes with the butterfly tatoo are especially touching). your editing flows so smoothly and just led me into the story. a great way to break out of your vidding hiatus!!!!

Oh blitzed, it's definitely a tear-jerker movie. It's beautiful, though. I hope someday you'll rent it or pick it up. Thank you so much for watching and enjoying it, even though you haven't seen the film. The butterfly tattoo part was gorgeous! I didn't really have to pretty it up much to make it more emotional because it is that way in the film. One of the things on Jamie's 'list' was to get a tatoo. He made that come true for her as well as so many other things. It really is gorgeous, the whole thing.

But by far my favorite part of the film is seeing Landon change dramatically just because of Jamie's influence.

Anyway I'm so glad that you gave it a watch and left me some nice words here and at TF. Thank you! I don't know if I'll be jumping back into vidding more. I guess it just depends on if a song takes a hold of me like this one did. Also, RL (my kids) need me badly lately and they always take priority. Vidding just doesn't happen as much as I'd like it to.

Oh, I just adore this video.
A Walk to Remember is one of my all time favourite films! I end up crying again and again. But your video left a hopeful feeling, I think.
It's beautifully edited. So very beautiful. Well done. I love it.

Hi there diapadme! I am so glad that you responded. I saw the other day that you'd made icons for this film quite a long time ago, and was hoping that you'd see this and give it a watch. It makes me so happy that you watched it and adore it! Thank you for the wonderful comments. :)

*blush* Oh well... the icons. That was indeed a looong time ago. Haha, anyway, you're welcome! Haha, how can I possibly avoid a A walk to remember vid of you! No chance.
I once started to work on a Awtr vid as well, but I never finished it. It somehow didn't work so well. Maybe one day again :P

I haven't seen the movie, but I still enjoyed your vid, which I found to be sweet, gentle and warm. The drifting blurs you used as transitions several times really worked with the overall mood.

Thanks Chasa. It's nice of you to watch and respond to an unknown movie vid. I also wanted to thank you for mentioning the drifting blurs (good name for it!). I really enjoyed doing them for this video, and felt that they really fit the mood. I'm glad you mentioned them. Oh, and sweet, gentle and warm is definitely what I was going for, so that's good too! Thanks again.

I love this movie and I love this video. Such a lovely retelling of their story.

Starting at 2:36, the lyrics go so well that I had to re-watch it a couple of times. It has inspired me to reread the book. Again.

Oh, thank you so much for the wonderful comments. The book is great, isn't it? Very emotional. I remember reading it years ago just after I'd seen the movie. Now I can't find it, and I'm hoping that I didn't give it away. I hope you enjoy your reread! Maybe watch the video again after you're done with the book. :)

Thanks again for the lovely comments!
