I have another ear infection (other ear). I hate... well, just about everything.

I wonder if this is a symptom of something else. I'm tempted to just not have ears any more.

My stomach hurts. Ow.

Planning on leaving for the apartment at 2:00 to get my suit on and start flipping out for serious. It hurts. So much.

I haven't gone back to phys therapy because I really wasn't sure if it was helping. Now I think I should call them up when I get back after spring break. Something needs to change, because Aleve and the muscle relaxants and my heating pad are just not cutting it. I'm going to lie down on the floor for a while and see if that

I feel slightly ill. But I think that's just the effect of staying up too late and moving my eyes back and forth from my linguistics textbook to my computer screen. Just a vague motion-sick feeling.

Neck's been hurting all day. You know what, I'm just going to lie down with my heating pad now. I'll probably fall asleep soon.

First PT appt was today, went pretty well. I got a more detailed diagnosis of my condition (lateral something-itis), a right forearm soft tissue massage, and ultrasound on said forearm. Then she froze my arm with an ice-pack and sent me on my merry way. So the plan is: right arm, left arm, neck and back. This is going to be awesome.

So, Baldwin referred me to a local physical therapist, and I have my first appointment tomorrow afternoon. I'm excited about the prospect of actually getting something fixed, or at least getting more medical advice than "Take a crapload of Advil." Ow. Fuckshit. I hate waking up with a headache. (That's part of the reason why I stayed in bed so long--I kept hoping it would go away). GO AWAY!

I need to decide soon whether I'm going to NJ for Yom Kippur or not. I don't know if I should miss another C&P lecture, and I'm also unsure how much homework I can actually get done at Gillian's house. ( Read more... )

It's an interesting experience to barely sleep all night just because of a persistent urge to cough.

I am sick. I am miserable. I have 15 more pages of Dostoevsky to read.

There is some better news, however: I am going to take a shower.

Oh. I realized that I haven't updated my Baldwin-related excitement since I actually saw someone who really acted like a doctor. I have tendinitis in both of my lower arms/wrists. This kind of sucks, but on Friday I bought two wrists splints from CVS. They help, although they've given Giles a reason to start calling me "Splinty."
