"Oh my god," Steve says, or something approximating it, already well into his second lobster roll, and don't think that Danny didn't notice that the same guy who's usually diligent, who's usually militant about asking for his dressing on the side was perfectly happy to slather on the whole generous dollop of mayonnaise they'd given him. "This is the best lobster I've ever had-it tastes just like crocodile."

Steve's probably just messing with him, but Danny grimaces anyway. "Okay, all right, and that, my friend, is why I got the chowder. You know you're basically eating a really big bug, right?"

"Mmmmmmmm," Steve says, smacking his lips like an jerk. "You're bringing a lobster back for Gracie."

"A chocolate lobster, and it's not my fault that everything in this state is either a lobster or a freaking moose ( ... )

I've got to ask, where is Vacationland? Maine? This was great though - and word on lobsters being big bugs, Danny. You can sit next to me any time.

Everything about this is perfect. Especially Danny being grumpy about lobster. Of course he would be, of course!
