omg, the photographic memory bit: I totally was thinking that originally when Shawn closed his eyes because a normal guy I would be like, "must memorize nao," but then I was like, maybe he wouldn't need to memorize because...and then I got sidetracked.

Heeee, wheee, banter + genuine concern (I'd almost forgotten what happened earlier that day) + Juliet-with-a-firm-hand (striking that balance with her, and how it's evolved over the past five years, is really interesting <3) + I always really love in like fic of shows with a distinct tone/voice how little words slide in like "sweet" and STUFF AND THINGS.

Of course, I may be a little biased. ;D

You know, I don't get/only vaguely get most of the references, as I sort of told you, but whatever; that's normal for me and Psych, too. XD

I scrolled past this a couple of times, assuming I'd forgotten to unsubscribe from that psych comm, before noticing the author. Somewhat unexpected... couldn't find a Chief prompt? ;)

Regardless, I think you've got Shawn to a tee. Takes quite a lot to get that boy to really focus on the issue at hand, eh?

Oh man, this is wonderful - sensual, very solid Shawn POV (the outdated pop culture references! his hair obsession <3), and Juliet is hot and in charge and badass. Completely perfect!
