So I'm taking some law-related classes. I could get a bachelor's or a master's in pretty much the same thing. Obviously, it's better to get a master's if you already have your bachelor's. But going for the master's would require me to be away from my job for six hours a week for the first semester (one year from now), b/c you have to take two ( Read more... )

That doesn't surprise me. I've always thought that about you--especially with professors (my only frame of reference, of course), who've always seemed willing to let you do WHATTHEHELLEVER. Because you do give off that 'Whatever you do, it will be for the Greater Good' kinda vibe.

I think it's all very awesome.

yeah, the profs dig me.

how severely funny if that's why. hmm. the greater good? me? it seems unlikely. I think of myself as slightly (& appealingly) evil.

Keep in mind, it's to their advantage for you to get more education-- you'll be a more valuable employee. And it sounds like they like you, so they also want it for your sake. I hope it works out for you!
