Shining the flashlight around she tried to find that figure. That woman who had died years ago. How could the mansion have taken her from Haruhi's memories?]

[She waves her flashlight a lot as though it would really help her see any better. It doesn't, really, but her attention is caught again by the person she is chasing and she darts off in the opposite direction.]

To Kobato's eyes, it appears as real as Vexen himself, if difficult to focus on; its gaze seems distracted, and it's tearing the back pages out of a book, only to spread the blank sheets against the surface of a desk and start scribbling furiously. ]
